IISc Admission 2022: Application Form, Dates, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus

IISc admission will provide admission to UG and PG courses. The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore offers admission to a four-year Bachelor of Science (Research) course. Students who will appeal for the 12th grade board examination (or equivalent) and have passed this exam in 2022 are eligible to apply for the admission UG course.

Candidates can get admission in various UG & PG programs through JEE Main, NEET, JEE Advanced, CEED, UGC NET, KVPY, and other National Tests at IISc, Bangalore. Students get admission into various UG, PG and Ph.D. level Programme. If the candidates have a scorecard of GATE / CEED, they will select the candidates based on the scores after a Design Aptitude Test and Interview.

After shortlisting in M ​​Tech & Management Programs based on GATE / CAT / GMAT scores, students can appear for Personal Interview (PI) and Group Discussion (GD).  IISc Admission 2022 Application Form

Here we are providing the details of filling the application of IISc; the candidates have to see how to fill the application process.

  • The Application Form will be Available through Online Mode for UG & PG Courses.
  • IISc Admission 2022 Application Form will be released in February 2022.
  • Candidates can be filled till Application Form till April 2022 for UG Course, And Fill till March 2022 for PG Course.
  • Candidates will have to upload a scanned copy of the signature and passport size photograph.
  • Candidates should remember the valid / working email ID and mobile number at the time of submission of application.
  • Finally, the printout of 0nce or more must be taken for the candidate to complete the application form, when the application form will be completed.
  • We have suggested candidates to take several printouts of the application form for further use.

IISc Admission 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should know about the eligibility criteria before applying IISc application form. Candidates fulfilling the following requirements will be eligible for the IISc exam.

For UG Course –

  • Candidates who must have passed 12th examination from any recognized board or university are eligible for this examination. The candidate should have passed with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • In order to be eligible, candidates must score 60% in the qualifying examination.
  • Candidates should have a valid score card for JEE Main, JEE Advanced and KVPY Examination.
  • Candidates who have passed the 12th examination will be eligible for this examination.

For PG Course (M. Tech) –

  • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree (B.E / B. Tech) or any equivalent from any other recognized board or university.
  • Those candidates are also eligible who have appeared in the final year of their degree examination.
  • Candidates should have a valid score card of GATE 2020/2021/2022, GMAT or CAT 2021.

For PG Course (M. Mgt):

  • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree (B.E / B. Tech) or any equivalent from any other recognized board or university.
  • Candidates should have a valid score card of GATE 2020/2021/2022, GMAT or CAT 2021.
  • Those candidates are also eligible who have appeared in the final year of their degree examination.

IISc 2022 Rank List

The IISc 2022 Rank List will be released after Application Submission. This will be enabled on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the exam. In this exam, all the candidates are required to be eligible for any one exam i.e. GATE, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, KVPY, CAT, NEET, JEST, CSIR-UGC NET / JRF, DBT JRF, CEED, JEST and ICMR JRF, for admission into various courses.

The IISc merit list will be issued separately for all the candidates. This merit list will be prepared by a board which belongs to the reserved category. Students will be called for interview process based on merit list.

IISc 2022 Cut Off

The IISc cut off list will be released with the minimum marks for the candidates who have passed the examination. Cut off List will be released through Online Mode. The cut-off will be available through the application number that the student applied for the exam.

To understand the candidates easily, see the cut-off-trend of the previous year and other details. The cut-off will be issued by the authority conducting the examination for various categories. Categories-wise expected cut-off is 60% for general category, 50% for OBC-NCL and 30% for reserved category candidates.

IISc 2022 Admission Procedure

The IISc admission process will be done in M. Tech & M. Des through Aptitude Test and Interview Admission. Only candidates shortlisted by GATE / CEED score will be given admission into M. Tech & M. Des.

The Admission Process will be started after cut off/shortlist released. IISc admission candidates will be selected through national level marks as per the interview round. Interview letters for admission to regular research program (except ERP) in IISc can be downloaded by shortlisted applicants by logging on to Admission portal.

The following documents need to be submitted for verification and verification at the time of admission;
